For a few years now, we've been hearing about cropped jeans everywhere, but many people still don't know what they are. And we can't blame you, ladies! Seasons go by, trends come and go, and keeping up with them all is almost impossible.

But don't panic, the Freeman T. Porter Team is here to help!

Cropped", "short", "floor-length" or "7/8th" jeans are simply shortened jeans that end a little higher than the standard length, i.e. above your ankles.

Enough to make our stylists' imaginations run wild! And once again this season, to your delight, they've taken a few liberties with the finish to bring you even more originality and originality.

With fringed or frayed hems, with or without lapels, embellished with zips or eyelets, with a clean edge or even asymmetrically cut, there's no shortage of options for this new collection's must-have! There are so many variations on this trend that, in the end, even we find it almost impossible to choose our favorite cropped cut... So we've decided to wait wisely for your feedback, so we can choose this season's icon together!

Maybe it's our denim obsession or our unconditional love of jeans talking. But whatever it is, this season's must-have is now short and full of character!

We've been featuring it for a few seasons now, and this year it's more topical than ever.

It has to be said that this little newcomer has cachet, and its ease of adaptation to both large and small body shapes is surely a contributing factor!

Whether flared or fitted, the fact that the ankles are bare makes your legs look longer, whatever your size. Now that's something to seduce more than one woman!

Available in a variety of cuts (high-waisted, regular, bootcut, straight, slim, super-slim) and materials, it's virtually impossible not to find the cropped jeans of your dreams!

But to be honest, what we love most about cropped jeans is how easy they are to match with everything. A unique garment that works just as well with a chill look as with a chic one.

In short, our little scissor-twisted darling revitalizes the eternal staple of our wardrobe: jeans!

Now that cropped jeans are an integral part of our stylistic horizon, it's easier than ever to combine them and wear them for all occasions.

We prefer to let ourselves be inspired by urban styles in Working Girl mode, or to play Calamity Jane in America!

For a casual look, wear it with sandals or low-top sneakers, then pair it with a T-shirt with pretty embroidery sewn on the chest, or for the more chilly, pair it with a light knit. Finally, accessorize with a belt or scarf around the waist.

If you're looking for a look that makes a statement, pair it with your favorite ankle boots. But don't be fooled: ankle boots can be as good an option as they are tricky...
